A limited number of rooms has been set aside for TRIUMF Summer Institute 2017 participants at the UBC Orchard Residences on UBC campus. The Orchard Residences are only a 20 minute walk from TRIUMF.

Room information and rates Two bedroom unit with a private washroom. Multi-level floor lounges offer seating, TV, fridge, sink, and microwave. Buildings are equipped with elevators. Housekeeping service includes beds made upon arrival, linen and towels exchanged after one week, and rooms cleaned after one week.
Double occupancy rooms - will be shared between 2 attendees. Roommates can be specified during the TSI registration process, or we can pair roomates up.	$74.00/person/night
Single occupancy	$99.00/person/night
All room rates include breakfast at the Totem Park Cafeteria (located across the street)

All rates are in Canadian dollars.

Room bookings will be made and paid for through the TSI registration system after acceptance to TSI2017. For a stay from Sun, July 23rd to Sat, Aug. 5th (13 nights) the accomodation costs are CAD 962 for a shared room and CAD 1287 for a single room.

Note that July and August is high tourist season in Vancouver.  At that time it is very difficult to find accommodations in this price range anywhere in the city.

Accepted attendees who want to arrive before July 23 or stay later than August 5 may book additional nights (up to 3 days before and 3 days after) at the group rates listed above. The rooms can be booked and paid for through the TSI registration system after acceptance to TSI2017.
